Radiation Therapy Oncology Group Reception and Meeting

The Radiation Therapy Oncology Group (RTOG), a recognized leader in cancer care for 40 years, is one of the 10 National Cancer Institute Cooperative Groups, under the Direction of the Group Chair, Walter C. Curran Jr. MD. Since inception, the Group has activated over 460 protocols, accrued a total of approximately 90,000 patients to cooperative group studies, and published more than 800 papers reporting the results of its findings.
They will be holding their semi-annual meeting in Chicago June 25-28 at the Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile.
For the first time they are holding a reception for representatives of organizations and individual advocates interested in the work of the Radiation Therapy Oncology group.
The reception will be held on June 25, 3009 from 5:00-6:30 pm. There is no charge.
Interested individuals are also invited to register for the RTOG meeting open sessions.
